View from Plugge's Plateau

For best results we recommend viewing this panorama in full screen mode (unless you have a dial-up connection).

The Anzacs captured the plateau on 25 April, and named it after the commanding officer of the Auckland Battalion. Ari Burnu point is at left and the Anzac commemorative site at right. The road leads north to Suvla. Scrolling right are the outposts, the Camel Hump, Walker's Ridge, Plugge's Plateau Cemetery. The tree line behind the cemetery is at Lone Pine.
